My friend lives in muscat so every now and then I keep visiting muscat.
If one is peace loving and wants to lead a good, peaceful life he should settle here. This place gives a feel of india, It has hills like india. But the roads they have built around the hills is just unbelievable. The local people also speak in hindi which becomes very easy for moms to go around. The only issue this country has that the taxis are not run my any indian or other nationality except the locals, which becomes a little unsafe for Indian girls. It also has very nice beaches too.
Sighseeing wise there are too many options.
One time visit is a must.
And yes they have a largest mosque also which is a big must to visit.
