Travel 2hours and 45 minutes from Mumbai towards Murud Janjira, a fort for which Shivaji Raje struggled alot.
Really it is very nice.
Murud-Janjira is the local name for a fort situated on an island just off the coastal village of Murud, in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India.
We need to board into the boat to reach over there. While travelling we can see the surrounding location which look like, inviting us to see the fort. Once I reach the fort Guides were available who were giving information about the fort. When I had visited, some construction work was in progress. He showed us the locations at the same time he was giving information about the same. We had shown us a lack whose water was green due to fungus and the same water is not useful for drinking, a small temple beside which there was a facility of drinking water. He showed us the Tunnel, hideout, Caves. Also the holes from which we can see the water and the boats which are travelling towards fort.
One can spend hole day without tiredness.
