Murudeshwar is a temple town consisting of a huge statue of Lord Shiva in a sitting posture and a big temple. A very good pristine beach is available nearby. Lot of medium to high level accommodations are available.A few good restaurants are available. Nearby attractions include Idugunji Ganesha temple, Honnavar, Karwar, Maravanthe beach etc. At least 2 days are required to do justice to the visiting places in Murudeshwar and nearby.
Goa and Gokarna are also few hours from Murudeshwar.
Murudeshwar is a neat little place and it deserves a visit when one one is travelling in the konkan coast.
