My Unforgettable Experience at Munnar, Kerala I had a Trip which was really tripping with My Friends on December 2013, That was a beautiful and cold experience for me and friends, Me and my friends have enjoyed the two wonderful days at Munnar and Here I will share some of my Beautiful memories and Information's about Munnar at God's On Country. Munnar got its name from the three rivers that is(Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni & Kundala River), In Malayalam Language "Moonu" means 3(Three) and Aru means River that it Munnar Munnar, The very Beutifull Hill Station, is located at Idukki District at Kerala. Munnar is one the most attractive tourist location at Kerala, and that is why Munnar is also known as Heaven Of South India. Munnar is the most preferred choice for Indians and foreign travelers. Munnar is completely a beautiful visual feast which includes Tea Plantations, water falls and with a refreshing cool climate in all the seasons. The climate and beauty is the main factor that attracts the tourists to Munnar, Munnar is also a paradise for Honeymooners. Munnar is always attractive with beutifull views, which cannot be portrayed in a single canvas.
I Will Share & Suggest Some Beautiful Places & Locations at Munnar Below:
1. MARAYOOR Its the Beautiful Rain Shadow Village at Idukki which is neighbor area to Tamil Nadu. Marayaoor is one of the Most Famous areas in India for the growth of Sandal Wood. and the Tea estates on the route to Marayoor is a eye catching view that we can never forget.In winter the climate at Marayoor is low around 8 degree Celsius, that is the main factor Honey Mooners choose the Location.
2. KUNDALA LAKE The famous "Neelakurinji" the flowers which bloom only once in 12 years happens in this area near to Kundala Lake, This wonderful thing happens only in the Hills and valleys of Kundala Lake. There is a Dam situated here at Kundala, and the tourists mostly prefer this Dam for Boating, We had a wonderful boating experience here.
3. NILGIRI TAHR Nilgiri Tahr locally known as "Varayaadu" at Munnar is the best visual experience we had at Munnar, This is the official state animal of Tamil Nadu. This is almost similar to sheap in size and shape, These always comes in group which is a beutifull scene for visitors.
4. ERAVIKULAM NATIONAL PARK This is another main attraction at Idukki, Munnar and one of the most tourist destination in kerala, The Eravikulam National Park is managed by the Kerala Government, The park contains a rare collection of trees and shrubs which is lovable spot for Nature lovers. The sights of orchids is the main attraction of the area. Entry Fees: 15 Rs Per Individual 200 Rs For foreigners Per Individual 5 Rs for students
5. ECHO POINT TOP STATION Another great location at Munnar Idukki, one of the astonishing point at Idukki which is famous for the natural echo phenomenon at lake bank.
