Mumbai is the worst place to live in.
There is no open space in Mumbai and feels like a large ghetto. Open and public spaces in Mumbai is like a far and distant dream. If there is an open space which belongs to the goverment it will be encroached by the slum dwellers within a matter of few months.
The real estate industry in Mumbai is ranked 10th in the world, it means that to purchase 600 square feet of land one will have to pay 30 lakh rupees. This is the main reason that the slums is increasing in Mumbai at a faster rate because they don't have money to buy a home and dwell in slums.
95% of the roads in Mumbai are congested, it only adds to huge traffic and nightmares to travel.
Public transport in Mumbai is far outdated. Even though there is a train in every 2 minutes the people always run to catch the train as if this is the only one available. This is the reason the train is crowded beyond imagination.
There is construction everywhere in Mumbai which adds to noise and air pollution and creates much more chaos. Mumbai is becoming a concrete jungle.
