Hi Friends,

I had been to mumbai last week and this was the feeling which I got during my stay over there.I am from chennai and had gone by AIR INDIA on a very low fare of Rs 2500 inclusive. I got a window seat and before landing Mumbai looks wonderdull with a back water and mountains. But all that ends when we see the slum just close the runaway. I am not against the slum as I know it is the home to lot of people but I tend to get emotional when foreigners always say that INDIAN people totally live in slums to a majority. Then just outside the airport u find some international hotels and roads are to an extent dirty with lot of work carried out by MHRDA. Traffic is the worst thing in mumbai with everyone racing against the other to get their way. Taxis are all black and autos are the best deal in mumbai where they collect the correct fares. When I went inside prime areas like bandra and so on,I could find the ideal city life with wide roads and better infrastructure. My sincere piece of advice to Maharashtra government is to keep the area clean around the international airport as many flights make a transit carriying a lot os passengers. Not to mention the monsoon in mumbai was doing its job as it rained heavily throughout the day without stopping. I took a AC cab and went to pune by the expressway which had a toll fee of around 150(20 rs initially + 118 rs after some time).I felt this fee as quite heavy and also against the factor that bike and cycles are banned on the expressway. Lot of accidents are happening on the expressway as people test their cars to the full speed because of which tyre bursting frequently happens. I could find lot of relief teams and accident relief to help in terms of emergency. In pune I finished my job in the outskirts itself and went to a hotel owned by the famous singer maestro Lata mageshkar named ''SHUBA'' It was a beautifull experience and I could never forget the taste of all the items I had over there.Wine is availble in plenty along with good food. I came back to chennai once again on a air india rs 3000 flight via chennai to kuala lumper. PLS TAKE TIME TO RATE MY REVIEW AND MAIL ME ANY FEEDBACKS AT emaildhinesh@gmail.com if u have any thing to say.
