Flood in Mumbai, Contaminated water and BMC

26th July was a havoc on Mumbai, Heavy floods specially in Kurla , Sakinaka,

And many other places which was completely destroyed by floods.

The next day it was given in news papers that anyone can go and collect chlorine tablets for their water storage from BMC ward office, so I went to my respective ward to collect tablets , it was afternoon 12.30 and when I reached 4th floor of the BMC office , I saw few mans sitting there having tea and chewing pan, I asked them regarding tablets, they said they never know about it, if at all BMC has announced then they will give it out, and they said the person who handles that department has not come today due to floods, I told him that if they announced about chlorine tablets then they should make a proper outlet where it can be disbursed without interruption , then he said they don’t know anything about and wait till the officer who is in charge of health department comes, he is gone on visit to sakinaka landslide.

I have asked them in newspapers also, but no reply came.

If they are willing to give service then why don’t they just give it out, why they silly excuses?

Choked gutters:- the BMC cleans gutters and dump the mud and garbage out on the footpath or on the side of gutters, why don’t they just dump in their trucks and carry it with them, do they dump on roads for the rain to shower again and let the mud slide down again in gutters and choke it ?

I don’t understand the logic behind dumping the mud on the side of roads for 2 to 3 days and then lift it.

Well, railways are back on track, buses are back on roads, peoples are back on their seats,

It is similar to soda bottle which fizz which splutters out when the bottle opens, now everyone has forgotten about the floods and the havoc they faced, now no one talking about the disaster management system and our sweet ministers ,who turned in to rescue us after 12 hours.

Excuse me below is my review details, what was the staff's attitude, I have selected None can match them<----- (sarcastic tone) try to understand what I mean to say

Alas!!! Sad story
