As I lived in Varanasi since my childhood, i traveled a lot the outer part of Varanasi.Mughalsarai is detached from varanasi by Ganga river and connected by railway bridge.So it is very convenient to travel from Varanasi to Mughalsarai by bridge.
About the city:-
Mughalsarai is a city and a municipal board in the Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh. Located around 16 kilometres from Varanasi, it is an important railway junction in Uttar Pradesh that is MUGHALSARAI JUNCTION .
Mughalsarai isn't a tourist place but its a nice one to live.Its a small city but have everything that is required in the urban city like Good hospitals, Shopping malls, City centre, Nice colonies with good and Helpful people.The most crowd of Mughalsarai was of Varanasi.The rates of land for building house were very high as compared to Mughalsarai.So people work in varanasi and live there.But this does not mean that in Mughalsarai u can't work, .Mughalsarai also have every facility which a person need for his buisness or any work.
Railway Connection from other big cities:-
The Mughalsarai Railway Station is a famous and the fourth busiest station in India, with about 125 passenger trains pass through the Mughalsarai Junction. Two important railway lines meet at the junction: Main Line(Delhi–Kanpur–Allahabad–Patna–Howrah) and Detour Line(Ambala Cantt-Saharanpur–Moradabad–Bareilly–Lucknow–Varanasi––Howrah).Mughalsarai is one of the largest and busiest city in the state of Uttar Pradesh.Mughalsarai has biggest railway yard in Asia.
so Mughalsarai met with every facilities and requirements once needed for spending life.
Well if you are coming to Varanasi for touring so you should take a one day tour to visit this place and to know more.I recommend this trip to everybody who are coming Varanasi.but not only for Mughalsarai, otherwise you'll get bore.
