Our stay at madhumalai will be a memorable one for many reasons
the stay at jungle homes(madhumalai) was pleasantly comfortable.infact the hot rotis, idlies and everything at our beck and call made it easier.
the small walk to the jungle river was amazing.walking through woods.a small flowing river, lots of trees around and an experience on a rickety log bridge
wonderful people we met during our stay there( a family from Bangalore, particularly!)
exciting safari( never mind, that we didn't spot anything exotic!). the bison, tuskers, deer and wild boar were the animals we spotted.
singing sessions, morning drive and so many little acts made our trip.
in short, a small vacation at Madhumalai was great. away from the frenzy of city life, the quaint place called Jungle homes, the sanctuary madhumlai and bandipur made for special moments!
a ward of caution: traveling with kids below two years doesn't make sense.they are too small to enjoy or know wildlife. trekking to the river wudnt be possible with little ones. next, much before u reach the jungle homes, even before anyone leaves to the place, it is advisable to tell the people at jungle homes the size, food preferences etc. that makes it easier!
a walk with the tourist guide is advisable for the adventurous types
