Mr. Deeds is a make you feel good movie. I left the theatre feeling warm all over.

Adam Sandler plays Longfellow Deeds, a down to earth, happy go lucky guy who lives in a small town. He owns a pizza parlor and delivers the pizzas himself when his regular delivery guy can't make it. He also writes poems which he tries to get published by Hallmark. Every day he reads one of his poems to a group of friends who gather just to hear them.

One day two city slickers arrive in town to advise Deeds that he had an Uncle who died and left him 40 billion dollars. They fly him to New York in his new private plane. It doesn't take him long to feel like a fish out of water. New York is not his kind of place, but he has to stay long enough to sign papers giving control of his Uncle's company to the board of directors. So he agrees to stay for a few days while the papers are being drawn up.

Babe Bennett, played by Winona Ryder, is a TV reporter trying to get famous. She pretends to be a damsel in distress, which is what Deeds was overheard saying his kind of girl would be, so she can get ''the story''. She gets close to Deeds and records his every move. Meanwhile her TV station is airing the whole thing. What she doesn't count on is falling in love with Deeds.

The Butler, Emilio makes the movie. He is hysterical, and keeps you laughing. His accent is charming, and his sneaky tactics are hilarious. Not to mention his foot fetish...

This movie, directed by Steven Britt is a must see for the family. Deeds is good people and he reminds us that we all have an inner child just yearning to come out. For those of you who are Adam Sandler fans, you will love it, for those of you who are not...well, try to enjoy it anyway.

I highly recommend it and as I've said, it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
