I'm with this company for 6+ years. In Mphasis managers do nto manage projects Leaders do not lead anything. Fake people are many but everyone pretend as super brilliant. HR is good for nothing. Their job is only to protect the management from legal trouble. Processes are made very complicate and human involvement is 10 times more than any other people intense business of the world. Raise a request for a software or hardware and you will need to go thru atleast 10 people before you get what you want. Support teams are useless people their who keep every work manual to save their job.


Once my manager shared with me his annual goals and I shocked to know that project goals or result is never listed as his goal. When I asked him he said it is team members job to keep the project live and steady. All company leaders distribute their own work to their next level managers because these leaders do not know anything. Have you every seen one Delivery manager or Head standing up in front of the customers and propose any solution? You will never find such people in Mphasis. These guys became DM & DL by keep changing companies for better salary and jobs. Now all of these losers sit in private cabins and doing nothing.


The company has only 4 or 5 major accounts. In another 1 year all of them will be out. HR plays emotional game through appraisals. If you are rated 1 or 2 it means you are good in your work but your manager do not like you. If you are rated 4 or 5 you are good for nothing and manager likes you. If someone thinks GAnesh Ayar is managing this company change your opinion. He is only managing finances because he is a accountant by profession. He speaks lot but company's financial results are falling for the past 12-15 quarters straight.


If you are close to your manager you can travel onsite frequently. People at onsite cannot do anything but they are there only to earn dollars and save. Talented people are faced with lot of trouble from useless managers and leaders. NO client wants to work with Mphasis becos of the work culture and zero result. Company is not worried abut quality work or meeting customer needs. You cannot learn anything here.
