I would like to make some comment and comparison between IE 5/6 and Mozilla Firefox. First I want to tell you that I use both of them. My personal fav is both. Still I feel there is something lacking in both of them.
First; speed.......this is a relative question. Speed depends on how the website you are viewing is made keeping in view of the particular browser. Graphics.........the grapics quality of Mozilla is much better than IE. Easy handling........no doubt its IE. You can have access to different options very easily. POP up add........ Mozilla can stop pop ups but IE cant unless you add a plugin.
Multiple window.......IE lacks this but MOzilla can be operated with multiple window in the same main window.....helpful when you want your taskbar clean and to switch to windows rapidly. But my mistake we often cross the main window and all the other windows also get crossed. Compatability.......still there are lot of websites that can only be opened by IE. Though this problem will vanish soon.
Download option.......In Mozilla you can download softwares by its own download manager. But I personally feel that GETRIGHT or other download manager are far superior. IE doesn't have such option. i.e you cant pause downloading through IE.
DHTML effect....... I dont know why often some DHTML effect dont play in MOZILLA. You can check it at my site https://choudhuri.cjb.net The DHTML effect can be seen through IE but cant be seen through Mozilla.
