I watched rock on a few days back. the main thing that drew me to this film was the music & the cast.having farhan akhtar in the main lead is a definite plus. and I must say that the movie didn't disappoint me. underrated, subtle with some superb performances by the characters. it is definitely a must watch. the strory unfolds nicely about these 4 friends - Aditya, Rob, Joe & KD - who were inseparable in college & a misunderstanding drives them apart.
the stroy line is predictable, but the depiction is great. I am sure a lot of us will identify with it.especially those of us who feel that life has passed us by:)
the reunion is very touching & the realisation that after all these years, they still have that passion for music & share a strong bond comes out very clearly. but they could have done a bit better for the dress sense of prachi desai. also I feel that aditya's character never came into full bloom - his emotional side remained unexplored to a large extent.
but all in all a great movie. though this would not appeal to the aam janta, but will strike a chord with the young, urban & upwardly mobile audiences!
