Bug in MS system of choosing Hot Review List. Review on Mouthshut

Yes my dear friends there must be some bug in MS system of choosing Hot Review List.or what the heck is the criteria of MS of placing reviews ’in Hot Reviews List’???

I am just fed up with the useless note written at the top of the ’Hot Review List’ page -

"Check out the most popular reviews on MouthShut. And getting the same (almost) list of reviews since last week.

Fine, we all use to come to this section daily and like to read good or say hot reviews among the so long list of reviews posted in a day. Moreover it is best practice to keep your presence noticeable here on MS. First Login then check your account for M2M, MSPoints, Reviews. Or if we are much eager for reading reviews then we use to first check the Latest 5 Reviews or Advice on the home page, then we move to ’50 more’ reviews. But here comes a crucial situation of choosing reviews among the list of 50, coz its just not possible to read all the reviews with the proper interest and attention, that means we have to be choosy for sometime. And mostly we like to read the reviews with some catchy title or the review on some nice topic/subject or if the review is written by some known writer of MS or he/she is in your trust list. This all may not be true for all the members of MS but I am sure most of us have this kind of planned or unplanned schedule on MS as our daily activity.

Now comes the Hot Review List section with 15 so called hot reviews, I sometimes wonder whether all these reviews really deserve to place in this section. I dont have any problem with the excellent reviews written by anybody whether he/she is star writer or a new comer but what about other reviews. I sincerely respect all excellent reviews and pay my regards to the active members of MS for their nice write up.

"The system has been programmed to update this page on a dynamic basis."

How innocent is their system, or must be programmed according to their requirement, I think whenever they wish to alter or change the chosen list, they can do it with much ease, then what is the need of such system. I suggest them to update their system of choosing reviews. The list need to be updated on regular basis. If I am incorrect here then what u say about the hottest or most thought provoking review by MagicalSummer didnt got the position in that list. We all must have read similar nice reviews but these reviews didnt got placed in the Hot Review List and the useful or sometimes somewhat useful rated reviews were there in Hot List like one of which we can find on TVS Apache these days in Hot Review List.

If they are saying like all these reviews are the most popular reviews these days then its total ridiculous thing coz many of the reviews are much popular these days like one by Pri (though this review is deleted by MS managment without any reason) but the reviews coming in the favour of this review are much popular (again I m writing about the reviews by MagicalSummer - trouble in paradise) and some more people. The quick or fast reading should not be the criteria for selecting hot reviews from the list of such nice reviews. A request to all my friends better you start taking backup of all such nice reviews or you have look around to read them.

"You never know, your review could be featured here!"

I was wondering since my joining that how could I be able to see any of my review in that Hot List, and the day comes when one of review got place in Hot Review list (Is Premji right to go against job quotas in Wipro? posted on Apr 27’ 06), that review remains in Hot List for around a week and one more review (Ae Kya bolte tum log? Aate kya Khandala??? posted on Jun 1’ 06) remain there for sometime and it makes me feel so happy and I started feeling that at least now I am also an active and noticeable member of MS.

But now I guess that there must be some loop holes or seriuos bugs in the software that is used by MS and due to which the selection of really hot reviews is affecting.

I sincerely accept that I had learned a lot and still learning from nice reviews on MS and trying to put my best possible efforts in writing some reviews from my side. Also like to add my comment to the many reviews. I hope some of you people might notice my presence somewhere.

I dont know what will happen with this review as now nobody can guarantee about the successful post of the review on MS and its presence on MS for respective time. But I hope for the best for my very own experienced filled review. Rest is on MS Management and their so called SYSTEM...
