I have purchased 10 Kg TATA I-Shakti Masoor Dal from the Company directly in Apr'13 along with other dals. But this Masoor Dal batch No. SP dt. 02/2013 is not getting boiled only in spite of prolonged cooking. TATA chemicals were reluctant to take the complaint initially. Later escalated till MD Mr. Mukundan's level thru mail. Local ASM accepted the fact that Rallis India has procured poor quality of Masoor Dal and the same they are selling in the market in packing condition putting TATA logo.
Subsequent batch with date of May'13 also found to be of poor quality as they have procured the same together. Company is cheating customers and not entertaining complaints. TATA has launched these DAL with the pre-text of giving good quality but it seems that this TATA subsidiary is cheating customers. How a TATA subsidiary can refuse to take complaints!!
Beware of consuming such poor quality DAL
