Mouthshut.com rocks!!. Review on Mouthshut

Firstly I think this concept of consumer feedback online is very interesting and useful. its something which I myself wanted to be a part of for a very long time (as I love talking) but didnt know where to locate such stuff.

We all are consumers of various products but its not important that we are always happy with the services we receive, so this site gives us a platform as consumers to voice our concern about products we arent happy about, gives manufacturers the much required feedback from us to help them improve on their product as well as gives would be consumers guidance on the products that are most preferred on the basis of honest tried and tested opinions received from consumers.

well, the thing that I didnt quite understand was why is the site named mouthshut, because what we are really doing on this site is just the opposite? the other thing I noticed was that old contests which have expired are still showing on the site, which means the site is not being updated on a regular basis, which I feel should be done. I also feel there should be a consumer complaint cell specially for consumers who have had a terrible experience while using a product like worms in chocolates or cola drinks and so on, so that others can be aware of the same and action could be taken against those companies.

Apart from the concerns mentioned above, im very happy about using the site. its a very innovative idea and there should be more like these in future.
