Today is quite an unimaginable day for me. It’s my 100th review! It still seems like yesterday when I wrote my first review here and at that moment I never thought that this place would become such an integral part of my life. Earlier I visited it occasionally as just another site, and now I can’t even imagine my day without this addiction called mouthshut dot com. It has given me plenty of things – a platform to voice my opinion, a bunch of good friends, knowledge, confidence & maturity to name a few.
And I’d like to dedicate my 100th review to all those wonderful people who have made this journey such a pleasurable experience. Yes, all those wonderful people whom I trust. I think trust list is a wonderful concept by MS, since trusting someone is a bigger compliment than loving someone. We must love everyone but trust a few.
Everyone has his/her own criterion of adding someone to his/her trust list. The philosophy I adopt in this matter is - You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment if you do not trust enough. It’s very much applicable not only at this site but in life as well. After all, in a way, MS is the mirror of society, constituted by common people we meet in our everyday lives.
Some people add the good writers to their trust list while some people add the like-minded people (who they think can be good pals) to their trust circle. I add neither of them. If a person is good writer, I set an alert on his reviews and if I find someone who is good-natured i.e. with whom I’d like to be on friendly terms I add him to my messenger list. Then whom do I add to my trust list?
I add that person to my trust list who has both the above mentioned qualities i.e. good writing ability & with whom I can relate comfortably. I’m not saying my method of adding someone is perfect. It’s just the matter of personal choices. Each individual has different taste in choosing friends and everyone has his/her own favourite writers, and the trust list is a reflection of our favourable attitude towards those members.
Trust list is also a mirror of one’s personality. Those who are extroverts generally have a larger trust circle than the introverts. Since, a person’s PR skills too play an important role in increasing his/her trust list. Thus, without wasting more time, I’d like to pay my gratitude to all you lovely people.
I’d like to begin with the person who has been my inspiration at every step of my life - pari_koolgirl. She is the one who is closest to my heart and no one cares for me more than her. It is due to her constant support that I am, what I am. I love her a lot! Next one in the list is my first and dearest friend here at MS - afrank. We both started our journey around the same time and I always admired this lady. She is a great writer and even a greater human being. I hope I can write like her someday!
The next two persons in my list are those upcoming stars, whom I’d like to see as a star writer some day. Since, frankly speaking they both write quite magnificently. I’m talking about starpluswatcher04 and elwing. Light hearted music reviews of lighthearted girl Ankita are really a pleasure to read. And as far as Aditi is concerned, she is one of the most intelligent persons on this site. Read her thorough & professional reviews on books and movies to get my point.
Next one is my close pal Krupa.P. She has a very busy schedule and thus doesn’t write that often on the site, but she always takes out time to read my reviews and encourage me with her wonderful comments. I’d like to thank her wholeheartedly for this. Next is my great buddy darethisdevil. Although Ashi has named herself devil but don’t get befooled by her id, because at heart she is a very sweet person. If devils were this sweet, then this world won’t need any fairies. The next one is a Barbie Doll! Well, at least that’s what I call her! She is none other than Barbie Doll look alike bewafa. Although she looks cute like a doll, but don’t think she is a dumb blonde! Ena is very matured for her age and this maturity is reflected in her bubbly reviews and comments!
The next two persons in my list are very matured gentlemen, who have earned their well-deserved star writer status, through their informative reviews. They both have a mind of their own and can’t be rattled easily. There was a time when I had decided to leave this site and it is due to their brotherly advice & guidance that I’m still here and writing my 100th review! They are - parikhmunir and mbfarookh.
Diabetes patients please maintain enough stock of insulin injections with you, because the next two members are so sweet, that they can raise your blood sugar level to an all time high with their “chweet” reviews and comments. I’m talking about none other than - pranavi and sweets_desire. I really wonder how they manage to do it! But never the less, they always make your day!
The next three members I’m going to talk about are the real “MS Freaks” in true sense of the word. They eat, sleep and drink MS. Diver, is well on his way to become the reviewer with the highest number of reviews by making it a point to write at least one review daily! Not only this, but he is quite active in even reading and rating other members. Another two guys who can be kept in this category are thegreatone and mnc123. Although they are not writing much these days, but when they both are on a writing spree, it’s quite a challenge to beat them. Chintan, is a very versatile writer as he can write on most topics, whereas, Milind is a guru on Cricket and Automobiles.
Another two guys who not only write great reviews but are also great at heart are - snaz and matwalaboy. Snaz is an idealist, a kind of person where difficult to find these days. And Mayank, well he is very hardworking as you can make out from his reviews, and has a great sense of humour too!
The next three girls are those I least expected to be on my trust circle. They are bluerain, nenners and nitica_82. Their existence on my trust list is good enough to prove that first impression isn’t always the last impression. We shared a lot of heated debates in the comments section, gave each other a good thrashing, but well eventually, I started liking them because I could bank on them to give me some constructive criticism and help me improve myself as a person & as a writer.
The next couple of persons have hearts which is full of love for everyone and are very good writers themselves - buddingwriter and manoj101. I’m quite lucky to have such wonderful persons as my friends; they both are very kind, caring and helpful. Another guy who believes in spreading love rather than unhappiness is RACHITVATS1981. I like his way of thinking and especially his ideology that life is too short for quarrels and thus, we must try and have fun!
