I have seen the telecast of Mouthshut on CNBC and it was very nice to hear the CEO of Mouthshut.com Mr Faisal Farooqui speak.
About the Episode
Well the episode is divided into two parts; the first part was about Satya Paul and the man behind it Mr Sanjay Kapoor and the second part was about the man behind such a wonderful site Mouthshut.com.
The entire episode of Mr Faisal Farooqui was an amazing one, in which Mr Farooqui spoke about the site how did it start He mentioned he started with 3 employees and now their team is expanded to 55 members. I also got to know about some secrets about Mouthshut, How they survived in the Dot com boom Mr Farooqui said that they dint spend money on brand marketing rather they tried innovative ideas like putting stickers on rikshaws I feel thats the most innovative idea because havent seen any company doing that.
Mr Farooqui also mentioned about the filters they used to filter the bad words one uses in the review.
I also got to know that Mouthshut was also approached by a few companies. I was a bit disheartned but then when I heard the next statement by him saying that they want more of a partner then my eyes were sparkled because I feel no one can given so much of personal touch that Mr Farooqui can give to Mouthshut.
I would like to say this to Mr Faisal that he has a very beautiful wife and very cute children.
