The SLVR L& is overall a good phone and delivers value for money. The sleek styling is the USP in its ad but that's not all. Behind the styling is a solid cellphone having the necessary features of a mid-range handset at the right price.
The sound quality is good, the menus fairly simple to navigate, offers standard functionality and tools and the camera(VGA) and audio player function up to expectations. The desktop software is easy to setup and file transfer is a breeze.
One drawback is the back light display. Outdoors in the daytime it is almost impossible to read the screen unless you take it to some shaded place. The other drawback is the phone book. The phone creates one entry for every new number and storing 2 or more numbers for the same individual, leads to 2 or more entries being created. This dilutes the concept of a "phone book" making it more like a list.
That said, all-in-all, it is a good buy and good performance from a satisfied customer.
