I have been using this phone for around 3 weeks now and I do not have a single reason to complain. It is that good. This phone like the other RAZR V3s looks very sleek and stylish and equally sturdy with a metallic finish. However, unlike the other RAZRs, this does not come in different colours. The usablity is typical Motorala and if your previous phone has been a Nokia or a Sony Ericsson then it will take some time to get used to this one. Nevertheless, it is very easy to use once you get the hang of things. There are quite a few things I liked about this phone and which I feel should also be available with other phones too:

  1. This phone comes along with a quality leather pouch, a handstrap, a data cable and last but not least good quality head phones. Thus you dont have to cough up extra sums of money buying the datacable and the pouch.

  2. The boxed pack also comes with a 256M memory card along with an adapter so that you can double it up as a SD card and so can be used in other devices e.g. digital cameras e.g. Canon etc. The phone itself has an internal memory of 13M...I think.

  3. The phone comes preloaded with the Apple iTunes software so you can easily transfer songs from your PC to your phone. There is a separate key on the keypad for launching iTunes

  4. You can recharge your phone over USB 2.0 once you have installed all the required drivers on your PC.

  5. The displays are pretty neat with both the inner display and outer displays being color displays.

  6. The keypad unlike most other phones is made of metal. This gives it a very sturdy look. If you drop the phone the keypad will not come flying out :)

Now for the things that I feel could be improved/changed:

  1. There is no FM radio! So you can only listen to songs stored in your phone.

  2. There is only 1 port for charging, handsfree and transferring data from PC to phone. So if you want to talk to someone using the handsfree while charging the phone...you cannot do it. If you want to use a handsfree while charging the phone you will need to go for a Bluetooth handsfree kit.

  3. The iTunes software can support a max of 50 songs in a playlist. If your long list crosses 50, you will have to play them manually.

Other than that, the voice quality, speaker phone, network strength etc are very good. The battery like is good but cannot compared to a Nokia.

In my opinion, it is a very good phone and worth every penny you spend on it. The cost of this phone is around Rs 12,000 in Pune. Really value for money!
