This is one of those phones you will fall in love with. It similar name to the earlier motorazr is not a justice at all. The earlier one was crap. But this is 10 times better.
The sexiest phone I have seen. The best style statement. The finishing is something I haven't seen in anyother model of any brand. I Phone and NOKIA N seres, Blackberry etc have a fan following of its own, But Motorazr V8 stands apart from all. The fibre glass kind of finishing on the front is amazingly sleek. The slim profile is worth spending money for. Although the touch screen only performs functions of music keys, but then this is not what this phone is for. If someone is looking for a phone with lots of features for less money, then this phone is not for you. Only for those who wants a great phone to take calls, and want that state of the art sex appeal, with some added features like music, bluetooth, camera, internet browsing etc.
Not to forget its camera which can give multishots with quite an appreciable quality. Zoom, in still and video camera is good as well. The big display screen is one of the best features, whic is bigger and clearer that othe phones of the same league. The keys are not that great, but still is fun when you get used to them.
One other thing that the brand boast about is its strength against wear and tear. Not few people have mentioned it, but I have to say that it has fallen atleast 3 times on the marble flooring, and the body that usually looks very delicate has not shown even a scratch. One of the toughest phones I have seen in the market.
The mini USB port is good as well.
Screens on both sides of the flip are attractice. Ability to click your own photograph is good as well.
Not to forget the soundquality. Mechanical effect of the voice is almost reduced to zero.
CONS: Heats up fast. Slow processor, low memory 512 MB, gets discharged early while listning to music on speaker. May feel a little girly at times.
Verdict: If you want a sleek and uptown phone, and don't have too much money for other costly money, and are not crazy about add on features, want something unique.. This phone is for you.
