I am using MOTORAZR v3i from 9 months.I bought it for 13500/- at Hyderabad.Look wiseit is good.Its sleek and handy.But you have to handle it with care. If it happend to drop it...you cant count the scratches on the phone.It has poor user interface. Software is not at all good.Sometimes wallpaper turns blank and you have to open the flip to refresh the screen.Motorola provided very good earphones but one wont feel to carry them along.They have very very bad shape. Hands free nob is too large to see.
DESIGN: its good.Not the best.Key pad is good but not protected from dust and moisture.Many of my friends ran to service centers to repair their keypads after rains in PUNE.There are two rubber shock absorbs glued very loosely on upper portion of the screen.They wont long last.i am sure that they will fall off with out your notice .So the main intent of providing them is lost.
SOUND: If you can spend same money on other brands you can get good sound quality.This phone has iTunes and a normal sound player.Sound player stops when you close the phone.For continuous play you need to choose itunes.But to play a song in iTunes you have to copy it only through iTunes software.
So for the guys who dont have access to USB in their offices its a dream to play songs in RAZR mobile.
THERE IS NO EQUILIZER function in this phone.So you are forced to hear some flat music :(
another added feature is there is no FM RADIO.
INBUILT RING TONES: PLEASE dont expect motorola to give good tunes in your phone.They internally banned good ringtones.They just continue with age old tunes and copy from windows sound schemes.So you need to copy it either form computer or from your friends mobile via bluetooth.
CAMERA: As per camera its good. you can take full 1.23 mp pic .but with low color quality never expect red to be red in those pics.It will be either orange or brown.
USB: If you are charging your phone then you should jackout hands free from your phone.There is only one socket for Charging,USB and hands free.And you just assume how it will be if one want to do 2 things at a time.
SCREEN: Screen is of very low resolution.( dot pitch size is too high.) So though you can see many cloros you should not expect a sharp pic on screen( kindly compare NOKIA or Sont Erricson phone screens with it.)
MY SUGGESTION: PLEASE go for this if you want a sexy phone but with no potent.Its good.But not designed for good performance.
