Bought a Moto G 16GB from Phones4U UK. Initially, when I discussed with my friends that I am planning to Buy a Phone, they said to by MotoG, but I was not interested as we can't remove the battery in case if we want to replace it.

Finally, I set my mind to get one MotoG. But, my friends were telling me to get it from India as in UK, there is No Guarantee and the price here in UK is 2000 rupees costlier than Indian Market price. But still, I wanted to go for it.

On the first day, the phone impressed me with its performance!

However, the second day, it started to shows its problem. The battery suddenly drained to 0%, then I charged the phone. Within ten minutes, the Battery shows 100% Charged. I really got shocked and contacted the Moto G Support Team thru Chat and below is the response!

Subramoniam: Hi Anni

Subramoniam: I bought a Moto G 16GB yesterday from Phones4u UK

Subramoniam: but I have problem with its battery

Subramoniam: its draining completely

Subramoniam: and if I put the phone on charge, it just get charged to 100% in ten minutes

Subramoniam: so what do you suggest?

Subramoniam: Hi Are you there?

Anni G: I would suggest to please let the battery drain completely until the phone turns itself off, then charge it again

Anni G: at least 8 hours and again let it drain completely until the phone turns itself off.

Subramoniam: okay, so looks like its a calibration / software issue rather than a Battery

Anni G: I think so yes, that is what it sounds like: 0

Anni G: :)

Subramoniam: okay, thank you!

Subramoniam: bye

Hope, I don't want to purchase a New Battery for a phone which is not older than 2 days.

Careful guys!
