I bought this item during the launch offer from Flipkart. My display cracked within 3 months though the Gorilla glass was intact. I hadn't dropped it even. Since Flipkart replaces such items only if it is within a month, I didn't get any help from them.
To get the display fixed(replaced) by the authorised service centre at Trivandrum cost me Rs.4000. Since it was supposed to be a breakage the warranty didn't cover it. Then the display started going off anytime I make a call. When I took it to the authorised service centre again, they said it was because the bush of the proximity sensor was loose.
This time fortunately they didn't charge me for fixing it. Now the phone has another problem. The charge goes like anything. I am just waiting for some exchange offer from some other company. Will never buy a Motorola product again. Maybe I got a defective piece. It can only be the poor quality of manufacturing. Motorola, what happened to Six Sigma? Can only blame myself for buying this cheap mobile. Now I know why it is sold cheap. I could have bought a better model for the money I spent.
