You guys must have come across cool Abhishek commercial of MOTOROKR. My bro recently gifted me the new Motorola MOTOROKR E6 and I think it’s the coolest gadget I ever had. It’s slick and smart. No dial pad as it’s a touch screen phone so obviously got a BIG screen. It comes with a slick stick for touchscreen which fits in quite nicely into the phone itself without affecting shape of phone.
But don't worry you can use it as easily with your fingers as normal phone with key pad. The screen is perfectly sensitive to your touch and you will never be annoyed. Some of the features are: • A Rocking MP3 player with dedicated music keys like pause/play, next, previous, volume and built-in FM radio. Integrated RealPlayer which is used as music player.
• 2.0 mega pixel camera with 8x digital zoom.
• Great Speaker
• 2.4” 240 x 320, 262K colors TFT external display
• Video capture • USB 2.0 compatibility and USB based charging. I copied 750 MB of MP3’s in not more than 7-8 minutes from another music player.
• Integrated stereo Bluetooth® wireless technology
• Photo editor
• 3D Viewer
• Office Tools like Calendar, Notes, Tasks, Alarm, and Calculator. Some of the jaws dropping features are:
• BCR: Business Card Reader: Just take any business card and use BCR to capture all details. It’s amazing feature. Captures details like name, number, URL, email etc.
• It makes use of integrated camera to capture these details
• Camera can be used in web cam mode • Talking phone: Reads out contacts, messages, menus and numbers...loud and clear!
Battery: Well, I will try to describe it little practically. I fully charged it, played 80 minutes of music, phoned for around 60 mins, few SMSs, explored other features like camera, webcam, video and alarm. It stayed without low battery warning for 2 days. I think good enough!Memory: It comes with 1 GB memory card which is extendable upto 2 GB.Infra Red: I searched through phone but did not see any infra red communication option.
As mentioned, it plays songs using Real Player so you can have .rm (Real Media) files which are of much smaller size (almost 1/3) than MP3. Off course quality won't be as good as MP3. I copied around 750 MB (150 songs) of MP3 in my 1 GB card and this works great for me. Believe me its very difficult to manage 1500 songs although they have various filters based on albums, artists etc. for better management. Off course it’s good to receive it as gift because of its whooping price:-)!
