Like many of you I do a lot of research

over the internet when it comes to buying a product. I was going to buy a

mobile phone about three months back, like always I read the reviews on the Motorola

E6. Every review I read said what great phone it was and so on.  The thing

that really caught my eye in most of the reviews was "Its value for money,

cheep PDA, a great entertainment phone.

At that time I wanted a device that could play music, because I felt that if

your phone could play music watch a movie on it you really don’t need to carry

an I- pod as well.  Now that was the main reason for buying the E6. The

Motoroka E6 is a good phone if you only looking at music as well as a touch

screen.

Cell phone have come a long way  from just using it to call people or send

a text message, but we have to keep in mind that this is one of the main reasons

we need a cell phone. Of -course we need it to do a lot of other thing as well.

There are lots of phone in the market that make better music phones, video phone

or camera's that actually a cell phone. The reason why I am putting that down

is because the Motoroka I very difficult to use when it come to typing  a text message. You can’t always use one hand

to type a message. If you are looking at inputting a lot of data into the phone

its going to be really frustrating especially if  you have big fingers. I used the phone for

three months and found it very difficult to send a text message or even input

data. I recommend that if you plan to input more that ten words use the stylus,

but that could be a problem if you are in a crowded place or on the move

because you will have to stop and use both your hands and most times we don’t

have both our hands to spare.

Finally I had to sell the phone because I would only reply to sms's or send out

messages when I was sitting or could use both my hands.

I would not recommend this product if you love to send sms's or input a lot of

data into your phone. If you are the kind of person that loves to upgrade you

phone with a lot of applications such as symbiyan applicationsn this phone is

not for you, for gamers its it’s very difficult to use the touch screens or

even the few keys on the keypad to play so its a big no for you guys. But if

you love to carry your music and just used to phone for making a call send an

occasional text message or wap its a great phone.

My phone before the motoroka E6 was a nokia 6600 and  I think I will just

get back to nokia. Since most of nokia's phones run on symbain OS that means

more applications more games and some of nokia's phone are also good music

phone.
