The i-phone before the advent of the i-phone. Review on Motorola MOTOROKR E6

I've been the proud owner of the Motorola MOTOROKR E6, for almost 15 months now & I've dropped it more than half a dozen times & yet it still works like a charm, except for a few light bruises & a dent here & there, but amazingly no damage to the touchscreen so far. This speaks volumes for the reliability of the product, which is the result of an extremely good build quality.

It seems the engineers at Motorola thought a lot while designing this wonderful cellphone. Incorporating features like a fantastic touchscreen, a slot for a micro sd card, a phonebook that holds more contacts than one would ever have - with every detail possible, a decent 2 MP camera, a business card reader & an amazingly good browser, besides a host of other frequently used functions like a calculator, world clock, notepad & calendar with day-to-day scheduler.

Mind you that these features were all available at a decent price level, at a time when others were offering the same at much higher price levels. Had used 4 Nokia, 1 Sony & 1 LG handset before I used a Motorola. Of my experiences with the brands I'd used, I found the Motorola to be a product that was heads & shoulders above the rest.

Agreed that the built-in music player(REAL PLAYER, ) is a little slow in responding, but nevertheless it offers amazing sound quality(including the FM, which sounds equally good.) At the current price level, which I believe is SUB 10K, it's a 100% VALUE FOR MONEY product that offers an extremely satisfying experience.

Keep it up Motorola. If you work harder, you can sure put all the NOKIAS & SONYS to shame.
