The release of Motorola Razor V3 started it all and then we have razor V3i with some changes although the looks have been kept the same with some cosmetic changes as well.
The first thing thats gonna strike the user especially those who are familier with the usage of V3 is the ''FRONT PANEL'' it got much larger and now includes a stylized company logo the official name of the colour is ''SILVER BLUE'' but in actual it is bluish black steel with a violet shimmer another special thing about the ''LOGO'' is that it shimmers with blue colour while on a call or while using ''BLUE TOOTH''
A loudspeaker gap responsible for playing call melodies is under the insertion, now it got wider. At the same time side loudspeaker gaps are absent, which instantly told upon the call volume, it is lower.

now lets open the phone, the phone is made in such a way that the flap can be opened with one hand and once you open the flap we will find a large screen, the resolution of the screen is 176x220 pixels (34x46 mm), the screen showsup to 262k colors, the picyure quality is better than the V3 and is a much sharper and also picture can be made out even in the sun, the screen gets dirty easily and leaves finger impression which makes the phone a tad dirty, there are small rubber compressors placed above the screen which prevent the screen from touching the keypad.
the key pad is same as the previous version while the navigation button has changed a little, The blue backlighting of the keypad is well seen in various conditions.
Now lets take a peek at the back cover which is of metel and hides a battery compartment, the fastening remains the same, the battery is hidden behind the cover, this handsets supports hot card change but unfortunately you would need to remove the battery cover to do so which is not very comfortable.
Now the most important part the Battery: this handset has 780-mAh Li-Ion battery, now according to the manual the battery would last for 200 hrs in the stand-by-mode and upto 305 hors in the talk-mode but in real on an average it lasts for about 2days but on an average. the battery can be fully recharged within 2 hrs and the best part is the battery can be reacharged with the usb cable by connecting to the P.C.

this phone is equiped with WAP browser ver2.0

this phone also has GPRS and a rather simple one

Video: in the video department one can have a maximum video duration of 10 min and one have the choice of three quality of videos that is (good, best, very best)
the resolution of the video is (low - 128x96 pixels, high - 176x144 pixels) but again the quality is average :(
