I had a 7250i phone for about the last one year, and I really love that phone. It had everything going for it. I am in love with Nokia ..... but not anymore. I switched back to motorola with their new model e398. This is one heck of an amazing achievement in phone technology. My first ever cell phone was a motorola way back in 98-99 ( it was a cd-360 or something like that). After that I made a switch to Nokia. Last week I wanted to buy a new phone as I was getting bored of my 7250. Its photo quality was getting to me, so I went to the shop to buy a Nokia 6230 .... and instead I came out with E398 from Motorola. I instantly fell in love with this phone. It looks good... its got a great big display. It has 65K colours which is quite good and the quality of the TFT screen is one of the best. Even in Sunlight , it is quite visible. The Audio reception is very good. The battery takes around 3-4 days to deplete which is quite good with the features it has got. Now let me come to the best part of the phone .... the Music. This has got to be the best sounding cellphone of all time. It has 2 stereo speakers, and to top it we get a 64MB Sancard free with a PC connectivity data cable. The way it plays the mp3's is so clear, that all my colleages just wanted to hear music on it. The games are great ( java games). The keypad is good for Motorola. The only bad part is that SMS sending is slightly difficult, and the phonebook is not that great. Also having a facility for recording video would be good . It does play video's though. Also there should have been an IR port , but it has bluetooth ( but not all my friends have bluetooth). Overall with this phone, my faith with Motorola has been restored, and I have been converted from a Nokia addict ( Frankly all their phones look the same, but UI .... AMAZING) . This phone is bound to do well , because it is not too expensive either. Amazing phone, I give it 5 stars for Sheer innovation and pleasure.
