Motel mamalla is located in Kovalam Road.this is a multicuisine restaurant. it serves chinese, north indian and south indian.it is very difficult to find a restaurant serving north indian in chennai.The ambiance is very spacious with huge campus, ample parking space, outer seating only for evening snacks, inside too is spacious and decent. Service was Interesting and weird because from the moment we entered, there were 7 people standing .Dinner times tend to become crowded since this is a stop for private buses.
Food is consistent, healthy, hygenic and tasty, nothing to complain. Even the regular water they serve can be had without any fear. They serve mostly staple south Indian Tiffin and rice items, dosa, iddly, pongal, rava Sosa, filter coffee etc. Had idly, pongal, sambar vada and coffee with a friend. Sambar vada was not fully soaked and seems to have been done up in a rush rest were really yummy and prices are reasonable.
As per my experience here, South Indian food is really good. I have not yet tasted the North Indian and Chinese cuisine here. Service is ok and pricing is reasonable here . They have good parking facilities . Do try this tasty vegetarian restaurant, if you are on the way to mamallapuram.
