I would not recommend Morpheus to anyone beacuse of following reasons which I and my friend experienced there -
1) Lack of transparency as they don't share patient's file details to patients.
2) Negligence - as one of my friend had infection at the time of embroy transfer'ET'(donar eggs)& Dr.Mangla was not prudent enough to give infection medicines in advance to all who goes for their own and for donors.Later when my friend cycle got fail Dr.Mangla suspected it was may be due to infection.
So, my question is, if a Dr.sees any kind of infection at time of ET and if there is even 1% chance that the implantation can fail due to infection than why she proceeded further? and specially when my friend was having good number of embroys(as it was donor one).Offcourse they thought of Money more than the patient.
3) Another sign of Negligence& Careless attitude.There are only two nurses at Morpheus.One name is Rachael, once she noted in my file that she gave 5 injection to me, later it was found she actually gave 4 injection.Though after confrontation they accepted their mistake but it was too late as due to that my egg quality suffered and embroy developed abnornamally resulted in NO Embroy Transfer(ET).This happened in my second try in'Double your chance' scheme.
Though I had good egg quality when Dr Biraaj Kalyan(Morpheus head before Dr Mangala) done my first Egg retrieval.
4) They will not do Bastocysyt transfer in 99% cases.I seriously doubt their embryologists for a reason that no matter you have good quality 8 grade cell embroys, they will not take that to Blastocyst.Our fault was that we gave them money in advance for bastocyst.I WILL SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND'PLZ DO NOT GIVE MONEY FOR BLASTOCYST IN ADVANCE'.ITS A WASTE.Only give money when they will actually take your embroys for blastocyst.
Mostly they fear that embroys won't go till bastocyst so they have to return ET money( see their division of money chart), so they transfer in most cases on 3rd day. Now the kind of language Dr.Mangala used with me was " Should we go till bastocyst? If we keep your embroys for bastocyst and they don't make it than? Lets do 3rd day transfer ". So, technically embryoligists are the one who decide they have to take embroys till blasto stage or not.I had good quality and even quantity embroys still Dr.used a language of'If& But'. It seemed they fear that if even good quality embroys won't be able to make till bastocyst in that case they have to return ET money, so they emphasis mostly on transfer on 3rd day.It clearly shows that their Embryologists lacks essential skills to decide and they are money minded.
5) They lack qood quality machines.I was asked to have a pelvic scan outside because they lack advance machine.Now besides paying money at Morpheus, I paid extra money outside.
Morpheus may have some success stories too.But after experiencing the above I feel those stories would be merely just'Trial& Error' success.The only good point in Morpheus is their communication skills.No doubt many will have a'Feel Good'factor after conversing with them or witnessing their infrastructure.
But we need to ask ourselves " Are we paying them money, investing our hopes, trust& crucial time for just feel good factor? OR for better treatment? We expect them to be proficient and expertise in their area.
I had a bad experience at Morpheus not because my cycles got fail but because they could have definitely done it better.
We could be just 1 out of 100 patients for them.But these clinics never realises besides money, the patients put so much trust& time(most crucial in infertility treatment) in their hands.
I personally won't suggest Morpheus to anyone.Still if anyone chooses it than I would simply suggest them to be aware about what goes around them, take feedback from other patients there& do ask their success rates( don't believe verbal stuffs, ask for written data).
