I went to Morni Hills with 3 of my friends for a one day trip only. We started from Panjab University(Chandigarh) and it didn't took more than 90 minutes to reach the main destination of Morni Hills besides Tikkar Taal(the government resort). The thing I liked most about Morni Hills is that it disconnects you with the hectic city life and this thing is not achieved by travelling to kasauli or shimla or even mussourie in today's scenario as they have got highly populated. So I consider Morni Hills to be the best among these destinations near chandigarh tri-city. Throughout the journey we didn't got bored even a sinle time as whole of the route is full of scenic beauty and adventure but the driver needs not to be very casual as you can't find straight road throughout the journey rather its just like a jig-jag, so the ones who get dizziness feeling because of such routes very easily should be cautious. One can go with family also to Morni Hills but its more fun to go with friends.

There is lack of accessibility for many things as it is a disconnected place from city life. So one needs to take necessary things with him/her before commencing the journey(liquor also). The best accommodation I would suggest is that of Tikkar Taal and for those fond of photography DSLR would be best as Morni Hills is full of scenic beauty.

One thing I would suggest by my own experience to Morni Hills is that please avoid going to or returning back from Morni Hills after dark as it gets very much desolate in that area and hence any mishappening can be avoided by not travelling after dark. We unfortunately came after dark but we were fortunate enough that nothing wrong happened with us but I am telling you about this precaution by that experience only that its not safe after dark. Other precaution one should take is not to play very loud music and no drink and drive as police can cut challan for that.

At the end I would suggest everyone to pack your bags and have a good travelling experience to Morni Hills and boost-up your energy with this refreshing adventure.
