On MouthShut, I would like to highlight the numerous errors in More (Aditya Birla Retail Pvt. Ltd) Billing System and how they are making money by charges excessively high from MRP. This was the fifth time I have experienced. The recent example, I bought UNO Fast Card Game for my son which MRP was INR 69 but they charged INR 149 for the same in bill no 1060048672, Date 22 June, 2013. I found this error while leaving the store (as usual tally items with price) and confronted with the cashier, initially he denied any mistake but when I insisted, he checked thoroughly and found system charged INR 149 instead of INR 69 it means INR 80 had been charged extra for the item.
This is really a shocking incident because generally customers are blindly believe on the system and left the store. I mate Store Manager Mr. Danish Khan and asked him a clarification, he simply said that it was a system error and difference would be refunded instead of feeling sorry and gave assurance to correct the system. If their software is not correctly read the bar codes then why they are using it and cheat the poor customers. If people still want to shop More then they should carefully check their bills before leaving store. I would also request Authority to take an immediate action so customer can’t make fool by charging extra.
