I have done my engineering from this college in CSE(2014 Batch). I liked my college because of many reason. Before telling you about the college, please have one thing in mind that this is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University previously known as U.P.T.U so it has inherited many cons from the university, still there are many thing that make it special.
1-Location MIT is situated on the bank or river Ramganga in the brass city Moradabad. You can reach easily to the college from railway station or any other place. It is not in the outskirt of the city like many other colleges. The nearby area is very clean and pollution free.
2-Infrastructure:- MIT doesn't have thousands of acres of area but still it has a great campus and built up are. It has different buildings for different streams of B.Tech and B.Arch and B.Pharma and MBA. So it has 8 academic blocks and three residential blocks inside the campus.
3-Faculty:- Like many other institute MIT also have mixed of faculties that you can put in different categories but there you will find many teachers for them you will have respect for life time due to their dedication and spirit of making the students ahead in their career. I would like to mention some name like Mr Anurag Malik, Mr Punit Rai(CSE Deptt) here.
4-Extra Curricular Activity:- There are many extra curricular activity that you can participate ranging from sports to music and dance. You can become a member of any club according to you choice and can make some changes in the working style of those clubs.
5--Play Ground:-This is the thing that I don't like so much about my college, as they don't give so much opportunities to paly games like cricket, football etc in the name of discipline.
6-Discipline:-They are best in this in the locality. But you have to follow dress code like in the school, they should change it soon for both boys and girls.
7-Hostel Facilty-There are two girls hostel-Kalpana Chawla and Sunita Williams and now they have started hostel facility for boys also inside the campus, earlier it was outside the campus.
8-Placement-They invite companies like TCS, NIIT and many more small and mid size companies but they are mainly for CS & IT. Pool campus and joint campus placement activity are also made to place the students.But placement is never 100% as shown.
Finally I will say that if you are going to do engineering from privet college in U.P then its much better college than 95% colleges in NCR including Meerut. It is best choice after some top 10 colleges of the state university and always best then universities like TMU anf IFTM.
