Psst - This section will contain some inside trivia about the film.

Quotes - Good one liners from the movie.

Oops - Goofs From the movie.

Director - Peter Docter David Silverman & Lee Unkrich

Screenplay - Robert L. Baird, Jill Culton, Peter Docter,

Ralph Eggleston, Dan Gerson, Jeff Pidgeon, Rhett Reese,

Jonathan Roberts & Andrew Stanton

Weird Concept about a parallel universe city called monstoroplis where James ''scully'' Sullivan (John Goodman) and Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) are monsters who work for a company called Monsters Inc. Primary Job of these monsters is to scare Children on earth, collect their screams in a jar so that it can run the city's electrical supply. Scully is the highest scream collecter and his only rival is Randall (steve Busceni). One fine day Sulley accidentally lets in a little girl who they rechristen as Boo (Mary Gibbs) into the monster world. Since monsters are actually terrified of children in the parallel world both mike and scully become fugitives and are constantly on the move to send Boo back to where she belongs. A nice concepot is sadly disappointing as the comedy is not as good as other animated features like Toy Story. Worth watching only for kids. One of those few movies where the trailers were better then the actual movie. Randy Newman won an oscar for the song ''If I Didn't Have You''.

Psst -

1) Bill Muray was offered the role of scully but the role went to john goodman as bill murray didn't return calls to the producers.

2) Mary Gibbs was so young that it proved difficult to get her to stand in the recording studio and act her lines. Instead, the crew simply followed her around with a microphone and cut Boo's lines together from the things she said while she played.

3) The slow-motion scene in which the scarers enter the scare floor serves as an in joke to the the arrivalscene of the astronauts in the movie The Right Stuff which was also served as an injoke in Armageddon where Steve Buscemi played one of the pilots.

4) The artificial child featured after the beginning credits of the film looks remarkably like Andy from Toy Story (1995).

5) Almost at the end of the credits a disclaimer states that ''No monsters were harmed in the making of this movie''.

Quotes

1) ''We've got a 23 - 19''

2) ''Meet My Little Eliminator!''

3) ''We scare because we care''
