I have been using Monster India for sometime now as a recruiter. The pitching of the job portal by the marketing team is extremely interesting. They go the extra mile to hear what the client would like to have. After sales service is also good.
The hassle here is the pricing - it is way too high. I would rather they reduce the pricing of the product so that the reach is higher rather than a select crowd. While they are negotiable to some extent, it is really sad to say that they never have a 50% discounted tariff for perhaps festivals / certain periods in the year.
Their advertising campaigns are good though sometimes they do not upgrade the resume bank. This is imperative on their part to ensure that candidates who post their profiles on the site are actually looking for a change / seeking employment.
I do recommend the site for consultants
a. User friendly
b. Good follow up
c. Quarterly options for payments
Not too keen on the price factor and some of the resources in the data bank that are not verified.
All in all - a good product. But they MUST bring down the pricing asap.
