I would like to share my theatre experience with all of you that I got from the movie Monsoon Shootout.
This movie was a psychological investigative thriller movie and single word to explain the entire movie is _ A CONFUSED THRILLER_ .
_ STORY OF THE MOVIE_
As I have said earlier, this movie have a vast psychologocally eccuped part.
Main story shifts happened regarding this theme.
The movie was about a ferocious police man Adi in Mumbai and the underground gangsters.
Infront of a cold blooded murderer with a axe in his hand, Shiva made Adi think to on the multiple possible options. There were three options for Adi at that moment.
1) Kill him on the spot with a single gun shot
2) Allow him to escape and leave the trouble away
3) Surrender him and arrest him and submit him before the law.
I am sure that by this time readers would have realised the fact that the story of the movie was a complicated one.What I am trying to say is exactly the same! .
It was a possible reason for the confusion and followed feeling of boring and final dis satisfaction.
_ PLOT OF THE MOVIE_
Story happened in the modern Mumbai.So director Kumar did a cruicial role in characterising the actors in to live .
As the story was on the psychological shades of a police man, this movie have got a casual background.It was seen everywhere.
But as a new step and as an experimental movie I was not at all satisfied with what director Kumar did.
_ CAST AND CREW_
Vijay Varma did the role of the protogonist cop and Nawazudhin Sidhique did the role of the manish murderer with an axe in fetish.
In short there were no long cast line behind this movie.But absence didn't come in to the scene.
_ PERFORMANCE_
Performance wise this movie was just an average movie.Being a psychological entertainer, the movie demands strong performance from the cast.
It was a problem and it was seen in most of the scenes.But it was an experimental movie and audience can expect more awesome movie next time.
But overall this movie was disappointing one.
_ VERDICT_
In my personal experience, I would like to state that watching this movie from theatre will not be much useful.Becouse due to a complicated story , there is a need of watching this movie once again in order to understand the movie in proper.So a DVD or a pendrive can help you better.
