I was a faithful customer to Monginis till 11th May i.e. Mother's Day. I placed an order for Cake & Rose bouquet from their website on 9th of May and selected their 48 hrs delivery option which is 11th May. The payment was done and they have made sure that 100% payment is done including the delivery charges. The bill is attached in this thread.I have removed the personal details due to security reasons.
I have received an email from Ms Smita Sahani & it was the turning point of the order I placed.*The first serious thing which happened in this email was that this email was sent to 300+ customers who ordered for cakes and they all were in To List which exposed everybody's personal details like name, surname, email address. This was a very serious security concern.
However, I have replied to her in requesting if the cake can be delivered early so that my mom & my family can enjoy it. But there was no single reply on that email. I ended-up calling their hotline and the executive assured me that she can't guaranty the cake will be delivered early. However, it will be delivered before 6 PM as it's within Mumbai.
As time passed I have realized that my mailbox is full of spams and those emails were all those customers who didn't received their orders.There was no single reply to those emails from Monginis. In my frustration I was desperately started calling their hotline from 6 PM and nobody even bother to answer it and the calls were being kept on hold for more than 15-20 mins and they were disconnected & wrote a strong email (attached in this thread) to them to which there was no single reply again.
The fight continued and very few replied that they have received the cakes but they were in the condition how it was shown in the advertise. I lost all hopes and put a full stop on my chase to this cr*p & called up my mom apologizing for not sending any gifts on her special day which she deserved to be treated and after I hung up the phone, this so-called-company sent the delivery at 10 PM in the night when it was almost the end of that precious day.
I am writing this review just not to bring out the damage they have done to me and to all those customers who placed order on this special day but I am also want to make you aware to think twice before ordering with them. The growing technology is making us more & more lazy that we want everything comeback to us automatically and damage ourselves by pulling into such blunders.
