Let me admit. I am a cake-oholic. When it comes to savoring a delicious, creamy cake, I never back off. And since the topic is of bakery related food, no one does it better than the Monginis chain of foods. Be it food quality, prices or the taste, everything about this food parlor is just great.
Monginis is a Mumbai based bakery network that has its serving outlets in several cities throughout India. It is a leading cake and bakery items manufacturer in India and is known for its top quality food.
Since I have my college in Kolkata, nothing comes better than a refreshing treat in Monginis Howrah restaurant after a journey. Monginis Howrah is located in the Howrah Ramcharan Road, beside the main road. The cake joint is a popular hangout for every traveler passing through the area. Mostly students and young adults are seen crowding the restaurant.
Monginis serves all kind of bakery items and cakes. The restaurant specializes in the bakery stuff and is undoubtedly the best of its kind in the region. Cakes like the Black Forest, Chocolate Sundae, and Spring Sprinklers are my all-time favorite. Monginis has a wide collection of cake to meet every treat and festivals and are therefore very popular for birthday and refreshing parties.
Besides selling cakes, there are innumerable amount of snack items ranging from burgers, rolls, pizzas, etc. that are sold here. The best thing about Monginis is that all items here are fairly priced and one can savor the delightful and tasty chicken rolls or burger for as low as Rs.25. The paneer rolls and veg rolls start from as low as Rs.15. There are also various veg and non-veg snack items to fulfill everyone’s needs.
Me and my friends are a regular visitor of Monginis. The restaurant has several joints throughout Kolkata. They also have the facility for online ordering and home delivery. Usually any friend’s birthday party is spent in Monginis restaurant by us, especially because of its cheap and wholesome meals.
Other than cakes and snacks, Monginis is a store for several exotic chocolate collection ranging from western delights to classic chocolates. There are gifts and flower items available for special occasions like birthday, marriage anniversary, Valentine’s Day, etc. In comparison to any food outlet, Monginis is far cheaper and better and is always our top preference when it comes to treat.
