Momo Cafe located in Courtyard by Marriott, Bund Garden is a 24hour cafe restaurant. It's the hotel's signature restaurant and boasts of an extensive Indian and Western menu along with a buffet option for all three meals. as you enter the place the elegant ambience grips you. the lighting the seating arrangements the table set ups all are perfect.
They have couple seating along one wall with high chairs, normal table and chair seating, comfortable couch seating and also seating alongside the pool which happens to be the best( a perfect romantic setup). they also have a number of other activities simultaneously going on to keep you busy while you wait for your order to arrive. tattoo artists, pottery lessons and a magician to face painting, nail art and tons more. we were hungry and wanted to attack on food so didn’t look at the bar menu.
Although a friend ordered Mysterious Green( tangy blend of pineapple orange syrup with vodka and gin) they have a varied bar menu though having a range of different wines. for starters we ordered Murg Angara(boneless chicken pieces made crisp and had a sour spicy marinate to it) Gilafi Seekh Kebab( soft, tender chicken mince kebabs, perfectly spiced) Paaya Shorba( perfect consistency and had the homely taste) Main course began with Gosht Roganjosh( spicy gravy and perfect combo with Tandoori rotis) Murg Makhanwala( milder gravy, rich creamy and chicken tender) they had just one option in their biryani menu and it didn’t disappoint( dum perfectly given, fragrance awesome and had the flavours well balanced) the onion tomato cucumber raita served with it complemented it well. the staff is very cordial and add to your experience at the restaurant. portion size is good and although pricing is on the higher side but worth each penny. would definitely love to be back to try their Continental and Asian Cuisine.
