What a find for Indian cricket .. Review on Mohammed Kaif

Mohammed Kaif is the name to reckon with,he has not only been a great addition to the Indian cricket team but also has brought some stability to the team.Kaif came into national reckoning after winning the under 19 world cup(in Srilanka)as the skipper of the indian team.He not only proved himself to be a very talented batsman but also a very good skipper as well.This was followed by a few good scores in a domestic matches after which he finally got a chance to play in the Indian one-day side and has he proved to be a great find.This man from ALLAHABAD is an immensly gifted player and what I liked the most about him is his temperament and cool attitude.

Kaif was the one who was responsible for India's historical win in the Final of the Natwest series in England.He had a very good patnership in the match with Yuvi but once he got out,Kaif did not loose his cool and played like a very matured cricketer,His looks and body language was so positive,it looked as if it was his responsibility to see his team home,and thats what I really admired about him.He performed so well under pressure and he was commitment personified.I suppose some of our over-rated senior(my hint is certainly not at Sachin) cricketers could learn something from him.

Apart from being a good solid batsman,he is an outstanding feilder....infact sometimes I am amazed by his feilding and catching.The way he throughs himself when he has to stop a ball is amazing,i mean one could just sit and watch the match for his feilding.Its because of him and Yuvi that there has been a complete change in our team feilding which was so poor before.They both are young,energetic and commited cricketers and they keep the other players on their toes,which is a good thing.

The one negative thing I find about Kaif is that sometimes he tends to through away his wicket by hitting some really bad shots ...he should be careful about that because at present he is a very important player in the team,a lot depends upon him when some of the senior players get out,so he should be more patient.He should value his wicket because his presence makes a lot of difference to the team.

I just hope he works on his weaknesses,the coming world cup is going to be a big test for him and also would be a good platform for him to showcase his immense talent and I just hope he emerges victorious,because he deserves all praise and success.
