I agree with the other reviews here in Bangalore too that when you blindly go to any of the Modular Interiors for kitchen and wardrobes. They cheat to the max depending upon your purse size. They please you if they figure out that you are going to fall prey or that you have a huge purse.
Bangalore Experience and Over priced products - Kelachandra Brothers - bannergatta road, Nolte - Koramangala, Venetta - Indiranagar 100ft road, Cavolini - koramangala, Kitchen Lube- Indiranagar, Pogen Pol- Koramangala, Sarvana’s Kitchens - Rajajainagar, Hafele - Shantinagar, Varun’s Kitchens - Seshadripuram , Arvind’s Kitchen - Jayanagar and These types of Factory made Modular Interirors in the name of modular kitchens
The MDF they use of is of very low density and water prone and last only 2 or 3 years and cannot be re-screwed... The Ply if at all you end up getting actual ply is of the lowest range and would perhaps not be ply after you find out when your lamination peels out or it breaks to show you the inside wood used.
The Sale’s reps, most of these ladies who work there and the so called Designers are trained to give you least info as possible. If they find out that you are checking every detail, or asking more questions or going for a basic kitchen and they become uncomfortable in giving you the details since they know they will be caught they start shrugging you off or giving you the cold vibes as if they are dealing with some cheap people... they dont give you details.
THEY DON'T LIKE SMART WELL RESEARCHED CUSTOMERS - YOU SHOULD ACT LIKE AN IDIOT IN FRONT OF THEM AND ACT UNAWARE ABOUT YOU BEING AWARE ABOUT THE FACT THAT YOU ARE A BAAKRA WAITING TO BE DUPED BY THEM... JUST ACT DUMB AND THEY WILL BE HAPPY IN ANSWERING VERY FEW QUESTIONS THAT YOU HAVE.. AND TAKE ONLY 5 MINUTES AND DONT WASTE THEIR TIME IF YOU DO THEY WILL SNIGGER AT YOU...AND PAY UPFRONT 10, 000 RS TO TALK TO THEM OR ASK FOR QUOTE ELSE YOU WILL BE DOWNMARKET..
Believe me there are lot’s of secrets they are using to entice you into taking their double the cost Kitchens and Wardrobes that if you take a knife and just lightly punch it in or scratch it will go in like butter cause it is all MDF low density highly advertised and neatly packaged products.
if it is ply you will be paying out of your pocket...
Ask them to show the MRP of the products or racks or chelves or carcass units and they start shivering cause they hike their price 200% and then give you a discount if you really haggle to say 10-12% and show you that you have won...
they have a minimum charge of Rs 1800 per sq ft if you actually calculate everything - though initially they will say 800 rs per sq ft.. dont believe me - try it out.. divide the area by the total charge they come up with and see it.....
Every now and then you would need to repair your kitchen and you have to pay the transport and other charges which is so huge that you can replace it with a new product.. all that warranty is crap for lifetime that they provide you..all a marketing gimmick specially with VENETTA, NOLTE, CAVOLINI and these type of Italian and German brands...
Their wardrobes charged at no less than than 1.5 lakhs for 810 or 108 and then 25000 for each drawer and end you with 2.5 lakh budget for a small wardrobe is not worth it cause it is all shine and no quality and you will realize that once you start to use it for some time.. beware of what you spend just by seeing these SALES reps smiling at you and showing that their product is the best on earth.. belive me once they leave the job and join the next Kitchen brand they will start licking you about that product being the best in the world.. A 4 - 5 lakh kitchen of italian brand they would sell it easily for 12 Lakhs and still give you pathetic service and no time. They just act busy and swindle the gullible since they feel they do not have the competition yet and I would tell them just a few more months or year and they will start bending over to sell their products!
The same quality and same workmanship you can get if you research better and I will soon post if possible the other products or places since I am about to complete and then come up with a final finish and recommendation of a better deal... you can go ahead and research the market before you throw your hard earned money and your dream house to these cheats..
and wait for the market once there are other competitive products and companies entering the market soon and wait for these guys to reduce or shut down their shop with new retail and foreign players or India start-ups coming up... untill then suffer a few more months..
