I had hired JFA (Mr Sanjeevi) to do one of my units in my house.
Customer Friendliness
To start with all, Sanjeevi was never customer friendly. For every design alteration which we used to suggest, he used to tell that this was not possible in his company. Our company everything is very standard and we do not do any customizations. He used to talk and irritate you so much as though JFA is one of the FORTUNE 100/500 companies in the world and the corporate standards are very high. The beauty of wood work is to have it matching with your interior design of the house/apt. And you know for sure, each house is different from other house. If you cannot customize certain things, the beauty of wood work is all lost. I am very sorry to say you will OUT of business in the near future. The kind of designs that they have displayed are all ages old (probably suitable for 1980's and 1990's) and definitely not for the 2010s.
Final Work
There is atleast 3 cms gap between the wall and unit. Anyone who comes to my home, I can show a free walk through of their work. This 3 cm gap is the home for all ants/insects and other creatures.
As a wall unit maker, I think it is the responsibility of Sanjeevi and Venkat to ensure that these gaps are filled and donot become a nuisance int he future . They come in to take measurements promptly and take 80 to 90% of the money upfront. They even take your signature on the agreement.
After the signature in the agreement, you are LOST.. The moment you sign the papers you are at your wits end.

I literally tell THAT IS THE END OF ALL.
The color will not match with what you had seen in the showroom.
The materials used are so poor and outdated. The material will be very different from what was promised.
One of the clamps they had brought to my house had broken. I went to the local shop to buy the same.
The shopkeeper told me that these materials are not used by anyone these days. He gave me a much better accessory material. I immediately asked him to give many more pieces of the same. I took the entire order and gave it to the person working at home.
Huge gap between wall and the unit. They will not even take the pains to close the gap.

Remember this generation Indians are actually working in Fortune 100/500 companies of the world. India is known for the IT service that we do. We know much more about 'CUSTOMER SERVICE' than what your local company in Royapettah taught you. My best advice to you is to take up bulk orders like making school benches, school chairs, benches used in road side Tea shops where you donot need to do any customization at all. As carpenters, It is high time that you need to "sharpen your axe" else you are doomed to go out of business. Mark my words.
