Microsoft Lumia series phones were on my radars in the month of September last year. Though I was die hard fan of Android, I needed one more smartphone as the previous Moto E screen was cracked after a drop and the repair cost was heavy, Though the screen was working.
I locked in to the Lumia535 for bigger screen, good front and rear camera and the MOST important reason to select was the offer from the Lumia-Mobikwik.
THE OFFER
Mobikwik was to add equal amount each month after adding minimum of Rs 300, for 12 months. That meant if I added Rs 3600 in 12 months total, I was to get Rs 3600 from Mobikwik as Mobile wallet.
My final Decision
I paid Rs 6781 for my Lumia 535 through the Snapdeal(Order Id 8237387915)
But the effective price was 3181 only. Good deal indeed!
My good experience
I used the code `LUM300` in Sep 15 itself and immediately got 300 and hence total 600 with unlimited validity! Did many mobile recharges that day!
I kept getting the amount till Jan 16.
My nightmare
In Feb 16 it started showing `Coupan no longer valid`. I wrote to mobikwik only to get no response for few days. Upon writing many times I got a different Coupan which I applied successfully.
But in March it again wrote.`Coupan no longer valid`!
I wrote on my Twitter account and Mobikwik wrote `19 Feb onward offer discontinued`
My question
How can a website change any offer which was announced for certain months. They even said `Mobikwik reserves the right to change or call back the offers any time on their sole discretion`!
