The Mitsubishi Pajero was imported to India in March 2002 as a completely built unit. Hindustan Motors then relaunched the Pajero Sport for the Indian market in March 2012. It is now in November 2014, that the company has added an automatic variant of the car. At present, the vehicle is assembled at the manufacturer’s Tiruvallur facility in Chennai.
Exterior
The Pajero Sport portrays the qualities of a traditional SUV with its huge size and menacing look. The vehicle now gets a chrome front grille and is available in two two-tone paint schemes - flame red with white and lemon yellow with white. Apart from the new chrome-plated vertical bar-type front grille, the car sports a silver front skid-plate, front fog lamps, chrome-plated OVRMs, black roof rails and a high-mounted stop lamp.
