I bought my Lancer GLi, 2004 model from my friend. We have driven this car extensively for the past 2 yrs and now I bought this from him, a month ago.
It has done 83000kms so far. I had to drive 687kms in a day to reach Goa from Calicut. I did it with ease.. short stops in between for food or for a stretch..
I was pretty fine after this long drive. No fatigue!!LPG gives around 9kms in busy road conditions with A/c and 12kms on Petrol. I hardly use petrol. I am satisfied with the performance.Maintenance cost is pretty low. We do not have a dealer/service centre in Goa. I go to a private garage who does a decent job. Just got engine foundation bushes and shock absorber bushes..
Engine foundation rubber parts costs Rs 2200 and rest of the work with wages came to Rs 700/-.. that's pretty cheap for a car of this segment and in comparison with other cars.Ideal for long drives.. but on rough terrains we need to be a bit more careful of the road clearance.. nothing to complain about..A nice car... safe to drive.. a real value for money. I surely recommend this car to anyone..
