Refreshingly different from run of the mill movies. Review on Mithya

What a nice change to go for a hindi movie which makes u think but allows u to enjoy at the same time.. it is the story of a struggling bollywood actor who is forced into the ugliness of the underworld just becos he resembles one of the dons.. I cannot reveal more or it will spoil the fun.. but this movie is great fun to watch.. it keeps u gripped through out.. although the first half is more fast paced than the second half.

The movie tends to drag a bit in the second half.. but it is an intelligent movie and it is difficult to predict what will happen next.. there is a bit of everything in the movie.. suspense, comedy, drama, mystery, murder, tragedy, thriller.. everything.. but remember one thing that this is a dark comedy and such movies may not always have happy endings.. everyone has acted really well especially ranvir sheorey.. the movie rests almost completely on him and he gives a stellar performance ably supported by all the other actors.. I personally felt that naseeruddin shah was underutilised in the movie and he could have had a bigger role.. neha dhupia looks really hot.. saurabh shukla and naseeruddin shah are really good.. so is vinay pathak.. harsh chhaya does his bit of mad blood hungry hoodlum quite well..
