I purchased a dva 6363 model mitashi dvd player. This has an inbuilt amplifier. I connected 2 of my speakers from an earlier faulty (Philips music system - 2000 pmpo output).
I purchased this from a local shop in santacruz (e) mumbai. Once can buy them online as well.To repair that Philips music system the guy asked me for rs.3, 500/- & that music system cannot play dvds. I bought this dvd player with the amplifier & connected the speakers. The sound is ok. It serves the purpose. It is far better than the tv sound output. Though this may not be best for home theater lovers.
I also want to highlight one aspect - the quality of movie thourgh usb is great. There is one catch. When playing the movie from usb remove the cd / dvd from the tray. With dvd in the tray there is sync mismatch between the sound & video. I fugured this out after 6 months of use.
After this the experience has been quite good.
Its great value for money. I gave back my faulty onida dvd player & got this dvd player for rs.2, 500/-. Thus i have a good speaker output.i can play the movies through usb. It fantastic. After this i went out & purchased a regular cassette tape recorder from mitashi. I had so many old & good cassete collections.
They are delivering value for money & good products.
