The Plot:
IMF ( Impossible Mission Force – NOT International Monetary Fund) super-agent Ethan Mathew Hunt (Tom Cruise) has retired from active duty and is now having a quiet and peaceful life along Julia - his fiancée. Julia doesn’t know the secret life of Ethan.
But when his ex colleague, Lindsey, is kidnapped, Ethan iscalled back into action to confront the toughest villain he's ever faced - Owen Davian (Philip Seymour Hoffman), a sadistic and dangerous international weapons dealer.
Back in action – Ethan with his team (Luther, Zhen, Declan)goes after Davian to Vatican to kidnap him. Ethan and his team kidnaps Davianand the suitcase, which contains information of a mortal weapon, called –“TheRabbit’s Foot”. But, the police convoy, transferring Davian to a safe place, isattacked and Davian escapes (A stunt to look out for) though the suitcase with information on “The Rabbit’s Foot” remains with Ethan.
Davian kidnaps Julia (Ethan’s fiancée). Now, Ethan will haveto retrieve “The Rabbit’s Foot” and deliver it to Davian to save the life of Julia.To make things worse, he realizes that there is a double agent in IMF and he has to make the right choices to make his plans work.
The movie takes you places from Rome to Shanghai through an array of spectacular stunts and thrills that will leave you gasping.
The Good Points:
>The stunts, the thrills
>>The chemistry between Ethan (Tom) and Julia (Michelle Monaghan) even though it as just a short time.
>>>There are no BIG plot holes.
>>>>The gadgets, the places the movie takes you
>>>>>The on-off humor
The Bad Points:
>If I were the villain, I would have thought of putting a detonator up Julia’s nose too. (You will know what I am talking about after you watch the movie)
>>Too many coincidences. But trust me, that’s what makes a movie.
How To Watch:
In a movie-hall with a large screen. Book a seat right in the middle of the theatre for the best sound effects.. I watched it at INOX pune..
Do I recommend it???:
Ofcourse.... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You cant expect more from a thriller movie.. Above-all, this movie was a wecome break from the crappy ones like "The Davinci Code" and "Fanaah"
