Few years back, Mishras was the only good restaurant in Salt Lake Sector 5/Karunamonyee area.
Being near the city's IT hub, it is too popular for young techies. Food quantity is OK. Price is very reasonable. Taste is also good. Not much chilly, not too sweety either. A good number of items to choose from - both non-veg & veg.
In the weekdays, during daytime it is mostly crowded with IT techno professionals. However, in the evening, lots of people come with families. Ambience is also good. People from all ages come here. I've been here with my wife and parents together.
In the main restaurant, smoking and alcohol are not allowed. However, there is a Mishra bar just outside the main reaustaurant where you can have all these. Generally you don't need to book - but sometimes it can be crowded. Service is good though at peak times can be somewhat slow.
